Yes, Saddam should have been gotten rid of long ago. After some consideration, I now blame appeasers like Colin Powell and Bill Clinton for the perpetuation of the Saddam problem.

as for Cuba, 35 years ago.

No, the embargo against Cuba should have been lifted after the Soviet Union fell and Cuba no longer had a superpower hostile to the US to ally with. Lifting the embargo would have likely led to the end of Castro's regime by now. With the embargo in place Cuba will have to wait on Castro's death.
