It is simplistic to imagine that he does not have a clear picture of the situation, that he is hung up by some military success he had etc. Sure, and it is equally simplistic to believe invading Iraq is going to drain the swamp for terrorist activities and mediate an end to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict without addressing some of the grievances that have been brewing ever since the notorious Balfour Declaration. Hey, this guy doesn't even believe in the existence of the god of the Jews. So what else is sacred for him besides life and peace ? How about perpetual war?
