someone i know lost 30 $ canadian big ones on nortel...this could've been a down payment on a condo...and there is still margin to pay off...i heard a slew of four letter words when the topic came up...i tried to say nothing but i couldn't help myself and mentioned that i've been trying to suggest gold...he says, well barrick is down too...well, okay, but even though i own no barrick now and have only used it as a trading sardine, even buying barrick at the peak & keeping it around would have preserved at least some of this persons capital...
