Jorj, I guess I'm having a hard time getting my points across to you

<Personally, I think that it is great that the spread has gotten smaller.>

Absolutely, we all do, but my point was it has squeezed lucrative profit margins way down for the MM's forcing them to go to naked shorting and other abuses.

****

<I just looked at the charts for ACF and RTN....don't see any signs of anything out of the ordinary there.>

Watch the opening half hour. Often those stocks open up late and then they swing wildly. I've been watching them for 6 months.

***

<It sounds to me like the pros are adjusting to a changing environment. Whether it sounds healthy or not to you isn't really important. This is a business for them and it doesn't sound unethical to me.>

What can I say? If you don't think having a few major players control the market is unhealthy, then no way I will even bother with convincing you.

****

<Do you complain that the casinos don't pay true odds on Craps? or that the roulette wheel has the 0 and 00 slots that change the odds? Or that the 21 dealer always hits last?>

An extremely dumb comparison. What you're missing is that the Power Players through control of the volume can almost never lose. Their odds of winning are near 95% I'd say.

Jorj, you're an intelligent guy, I'm a bit surprised at how naive your comments are.

Jorg, even the 9/11 terrorists were selling "naked calls" just before the attack.

And you say, the Power Players are simply adapting and not perverting our system? You say buying or selling "naked" only happens in the Penny Market.

Get real, man. Open up your eyes. Our market is so prone to abuse that it's incredible. They aren't adapting, they are perverting to the nth degree. And getting away with it.

In the case of the terrorists, 38 brokerages, if memory serves, looked the other way. It's full of increbile greed out there.
