SFD,

Ok most of your points are reasoanble. The exception is that you make no allowance for the Palestinians or other Arabs to recognize Israel's right to exist.

That distiniction needs to be made.

John

"Look at their Lebanon action." you say Sir Drake.

Look also where it leads us to. Undisputed back bases for Iran, with reportedly thousands of missiles aimed at the heart of Israel, Haifa included. Why would Lebanese need them missiles now that they got all their land back ? You don't seem to know, nor care.
Possibly the the Shebba farms issue ? As big as Bushie's golf course, but without the grass, plenty of rocks, and even a UN that ignores to whom to give it to ? Syria they guessed, last time I checked.

Why didn't the Lebanese sign some peace paper, once they got their land back ? Because it does not please alla, Harriri and Assad ? And how come you don't you complain about Lebanon being anschlussed by Assad ? Mystery.

If Israel pulls back to 67 borders, soon the same kassams missiles and others katiuchas will be massed on just all the borders of Israel : 400 km. Tel Aviv airport will be closed every other night because of katiucha some Pals kids would shoot; and we couldn't blame them with what has happened to their brothers, fathers, grandfathers etc, would we ?
Theoretically, I must admit that it is possible that some few square Km of the deep Neguev desert will be beyond range?

Of course we could have the hope the slight hope, that in a formidable gesture of magnanimity, "The PA will be flexible on Jerusalem." To quote you.
May be we should start praying for it, because for a couple of milleniums it wasn't really the case, so I feel there is a need here for some miracle.

But once such a withdrawal works, 67 borders, the next demands, as we already have heard herds claiming it, will come falling from the skies and exploding out of restaurants. "Our land! All our sacred land! By Allah! To the last holly inch! Besiff! " Besiff = sword in hand, by force, has to be.

And the Jews not wanting to be, again, accused of committing crimes, should start moving out.

Do you happen to have any proposal as to their final destination that would bother no one, including you ?
