Taken separately any of the following details or comments is notable, but taken together and placed in context, the evidence of unprecedented profiteering by terrorists and/or those with prior knowledge is clearly undeniable. Long ago, I learned about the fact that the US government knew well ahead of time about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Some references... The Pearl Harbor conspiracy.geocities.com Ships saved at Pearl Harbor (i.e. out of)ibiblio.org Excess medical supplies sent to PH prior to the attackusni.org In spite of that, my "naïveté" stopped me from me fully believing it. This soon changed. What finally convinced me and forever changed how I viewed governments and in particularly the way they "motivate" their respective populace when it comes to acts of war, was that later in life, I learned directly from an individual who had been involved in the military and in the events related to PH, who confirmed what I had been doubting all this time. I cannot give details, so please do not ask. Talk about loss of innocence... and becoming a full time cynic. Every time I hear a veteran (particularly WW II) described their experiences, I listen in silence and I get angered... do not misunderstand me, I admire the courage these guys had (and still do). They truly believed in an ideal and fought and died for freedom. What burns me is that in most cases, they did not have to die since there must have been other ways to achieve the same end. Above all, it angers me that good men and women are wasted by the lies and deceptions of politicians. This reinforced the skepticism already deep in me as a result of living through the unbelievable stories of corrupted leaders in Latin America and the consequences of their actions So... The stories about "profiting from terrorism" that you are pointing out have been in my mind and do not surprise me at all. What does worry me is the "law of un-intended consequences" We can see it clearly even on the Pearl Harbor event. I strongly believe that FDR never, in his wildest considerations, envisioned that the attack would have been so massive. Likewise, if the CIA, (or whoever inside the government), knew the degree of reality about the Bin Laden attacks never imagined that they would be so tremendously successful and with such devastating consequences Considering... 1. Logistical success to coordinate all four planes. (Were there more?) 2. That both towers would actually collapse completely (assuming they knew the WTC was a target --which they MUST have considered given that Bin Laden had tried before). 3. The attack on the white house... I even wonder if that was a "staged" failed mission by design... 4. Did the CIA was planning to "save the day" yet the terrorists surprised them and attacked earlier or in a different way... opening the question, who was playing on who? Again, the problem is the un-intended consequences... because this time the nuclear and/or bio-chem. factor is a cold reality and its consequences could truly be devastating. I have already mentioned this before... Mad Max is here already, we just simply have not recognized it yet...
