bearish complacency
Everybody I talk to (mostly professional-educated) still talks about being in for the long term and how stocks always come back. I am the only (I mean the only) true bear I know.
But of course The most successful traders/investors let the markets talk to them-they don't talk to the markets.
What I hear the markets saying is that all the surprises have been on the downside.
