Is this the Pollack everyone is talking about? No. This one: amazon.com His long time focus is Iraq. Was a CIA analyst on Iraq in the first Bush administration and moved to the National Security Council during the Clinton administration. I'm about 100 pages in now, reading slow, checking footnotes (and there are some wonderful ones) and I certainly, at least for the moment, agree with the blurb quote on the back that it will be the defining book of the Iraqi debate.
