Paul, Yeah, on BBY I can't disagree for beyond 5 yrs back. Definitely was a different company back then. I guess what you're getting to is predictability - that perhaps retail isn't reliable enough to have confidence in the future of the company. For picking stocks the way I'm doing the predictability of steady performance is key. As far as why or how so many of these retail companies can run such high ROEs, I just don't know. Once a brand is established the high ROEs seem to have the ability to persist for some reason though. Shane
