! It's not like the taxpayers are paying them,

It depends... who paid for the stadium and who collects money by selling the name on the stadium? Who pays for all those road improvements to make the trip easier?

So I say, give them the money! It's not like the taxpayers are paying them, right?

Well,....yes,......we do. Who buys the tickets at the
games? The unemployeed? The jobless? The homeless?
High priced players = high priced tickets. Money doesn't
grow on trees, so someone has to foot the bill. It may not
be tax money, but taxpayers, those who earn a living, pay.
Why is entertainment that expensive?
