If FNM has not covered that 14month lag a drop in rates before they do could crush them

I believe (but could be wrong) that that consideration was one factor in delaying rate cuts.

Maybe I am nuts but that's what I think.
If and only IF AN WHEN rate cuts will not hurt FNM will we see them.

Perhaps my analysis is incorrect. Not sure.
Would like another opinion on this.

FNM is in deep sh*t however no matter how you slice it.
