Refusing to acknowledge the troubling facts amounts to sticking one's head in the sand.

A scenario which is writ small in the Danish crime statistics, but large in the problem of Iraq, as the rest of world cries, "no war! keep the status quo! we don't see any problem! don't talk to us about Saddam and nukes!"

And so tek wishes for an administration with fire and resolve enough to lead the US to war, against the wishes of the UN and our "allies" if need be, while retaining diplomatic subtlety enough to make our allies follow us with a show of willingness. Well, say I, he doesn't want much, does he? I wonder if any administration in history would have been paragon enough to pull that combo off?
