John,

what is going on is that Toyota will not share the computer codes that are used to diagnose problems in vehicles.
so if you want your car serviced, you HAVE to bring it to Toyota.
as a Toyota owner i still own a 1985 toyota cressida wagon, bought new, with 300,000 miles on it,along with some newer models.

Thanks, that is new information to me. However, it seems unlikely that it would suddenly drive up the both new and service business level from what looked normal in May.

The other thing I can't fathom is how my 106,000 mile 1989 Corolla All Trac sedan changed its required wiper size in one year. Last year the computer said it needed 20/18" Anco winter blades and this year 18/16". -g-

Regards, Don
