I would have thought the Major thing was more important.

It's incredible. I don't mind what the politicians get up to in there sex lives but lying under oath in a court of law is completely another matter. I'm not sure if John Major did, but the fact remains he would have done if asked to testify. How are we supposed to believe in a world they say!

The London Times is running the Edwina Currie story like a cheap tabloid. The cheap tabloids have gone amok. Edwina Curry had written some novels about politicians and politics called "bonkbusters". It seems they are a tad autobiographical. It's hilarious. Now we have her diary published in sensational form. Edwina Currie has also shredded any reputation the conservative party has regained.

Here is tabloid "the sun" story today.

It was during the early 90's that John Major ran a campaign called "back to basics". It was supposed to bring the Conservatives back to the important issues (including morality) in politics after a period of sleaze being made public. At the time a labour MP called Stephen Pound said, "It's not so much a case of "back to basics" as "back to my place"" -LOL-
