ru2-- remember Warren was careful with my $$. He did not buy the stock at any price. If lvlt does survive it may take a very long time to get the same returns of brk. If it does not-- bondholders get something back while SHs do not. Add the fact few institutions are permitted by charter to buy anything under $5 and some cannot or will not touch anything under 10 it looks like a LT before they are able to help the price. The sector still sux and will suffer from overcapacity for a LT. For those reasons (and others) there seems to be much better places for my money to play. If it is 9% you are looking for-- well there are many junk bond funds that pay that % more. I bought one not long ago and not only getting the interest but now sit on a decent cap gain besides. Some preferreds & bonds of VG companys are paying close for the LT (I hold GM, Tommy Hilfinger, Con Ed & others paying 6+% to 9%). Good luck.
