Suppose the US backs off, Israel or the US gets targeted again. Will your ilk stand up and take the blame?

I cannot conceive of a louder wakeup call than the seizure of WEAPONS GRADE Uranium yesterday, 150 miles from Iraq.

Weapons Grade Uranium is used for one thing: The manufacture of weapons.

It is inconceivable that this material was headed anywhere other than Iraq. This is the major component lacking in Iraq's Nuke plan; Iraq is known to have been trying to purchase this material for some time; and Iraq is believed to have the facilities to finish the project.

That said, it does appear that the Democrats in Congress are not in opposition to anything Bush is doing; they're just trying to take political advantage of it (and I think they have succeeded, to some extent, by mischaracterizing the Administration's position).

Of course, there is the fact that Bonior and McDermott are in Iraq, basically siding with the enemy. They should be tried and convicted of treason and shot.

Jim, so you know for sure that Iraq was behind 9/11 and they will be behind the next attack?

Jim,

Will your ilk stand up and take the blame?

No, they will blame Bush for not acting.

Joe

Also, where is the pre-emptive strike? Has it happened yet?

Personally, I'm not sure we're really talking about a "pre-emptive" strike. After all, we're already engaged in shooting war with Iraq.

I do think the Bush Doctrine of pre-emption would justify the term; but I'm not even sure it applies in Iraq given the fact we've been at war for 11 years with them already.
