The journalist Gwen Ifil, watching this shameful performance, said that everytime the Democrats try to find a moral center to their position, somebody drags them off to where they don't want to be. Last time I checked these two are only a very, very small portion of the Dem members of the House. It just might be that there are multiple points of view in that caucus. Just as I've heard there are in the Rep caucus on this issue. Not yet clear there is a Dem position.
