I am strong believer that oil production will peak on the globe within 10-15 years and that we must begin to prepare ourselves for the consequences such as higher prices and more influence by whoever controls Iraq & SA.

I am no expert on oil production and I don't pretend to be. But I am old enough to a) remember that conventional wisdom of 1973 claimed that oil reserves would be largely depleted by now, and b) know that oil reserves today are larger than they were in 1973, due to new discoveries and improved technology. So I tend to lend credence to Sheikh Yamani when he says, "The stone age did not end for want of stones and the oil age will not end for want of oil."
