Al, it is inconceivable to me how anyone could make the assumption that the uranium was going to Iraq.

Given the array of possible destinations, Iraq is the obvious likely place. And you know it; you just can't admit Bush is right. You may be "liberal dense", but you aren't so stupid as to not realize this as fact.

Like most of what you say, this post doesn't concern itself with fact but rather what fits your vision of the truth. Your posts express the kind of knee jerk conviction the Russians of the '80's had for communism, or the chamber of commerce has for its home city. What you and the Russians and the chamber of commerce do is hold on real tight to your conviction because its all you know and it seems to work, and therefore, you thinks its best.......and you never let any of the truth in to confuse you.

You refer to my "liberal dense" as the cause for my inability to see your reality. That's because your reality doesn't necessarily come from truth. Since I want truth and not your fiction, then I can hardly buy into it. And to be clear, I am not saying the uranium was not destined to go to Iraq; instead, I am saying there are any number of possible destinations, one of which one could be Iraq. And I think its dangerous to make the kind of assumptions you make so willingly.

Your attitude reflects that of Mr. Bush's and its why things are turning into a mess. The more I watch Mr. Bush in action the less credibility he has with me. Mr. Bush wants to play policeman to the world, and Sharon is encouraging that role, hoping to get us embroiled in his mess. During the past few months, Israeli intelligence has been feeding Sharon and Bush information that indicts the Iranians to a great degree and the Iraqis to a lesser degree in their support of the Palestinian uprising. More recently, Libya has been fingered and there are claims that they are working on WMD.

Sharon is smart.........he wants us fighting side by side with him in the Middle East to insure the safety of his nation and just as his constituency is beginning to doubt his effectiveness. Therefore, Sharon will do what ever it takes to feed the paranoia of our leaders. And the religious differences between Islam and Christianity fits nicely into this picture.

I am "liberal dense" not because of partisan politics but because we heading for serious trouble with a cowboy at the helm, the one who should not have been president. The wrongness of the situation guarantees serious problems for this nation.......and may jeopardize our future existence. I can not provide the construct for what will happen but I know we are spinning more and more out of control. Its why I can't bother with your BS anymore.
