<<I'm not sure what you mean by "do this now"? Do you mean take out Saddam? Or develop fuel cells?>>

Both, If we can take out Saddam oil prices will crash(sure the price will go up first - during the war) with this de-facto tax cut many industries can & will improve.

And the absolute truth is that if we take all the money away from the radical fundamental Islamic Mad-Men - the Petrodollars - they fail. You know how the the US beat the Native Americans(indians)? We starved them - we killed the bison. You know how the north beat the south in,our civil war? They, too, were starved out. Sure, we dropped the A-bombs on Japan and shortened the war greatly(& saved a great many American lives which would have been lost in an invasion)- BUT The land mass & natural resources of the islands of Japan aren't large enough to support their population & any noteworthy war effort without introduction of additional resources.

If we can, once & for all time, destroy the value of petroleum & break the back of OPEC, we will have good as destroyed Radical Islam. If they can't buy bullets or bombs they can't do anything & will be forced to join the (mid)20th century - I'm not looking for complete change overnight.

Fill their bellies - when & if they fall in line. Starving people don't fight as well - it has been thus through all of history.
