I doubt very much that this is the case. It isn't even the case here in So Cal where the market is much hotter.

You can get a starter here for $300-350...not in the most beautiful area but very decent...even my home, which is going on the market this week will be listed for $269-275k...remember, we're talking starters here. 2bed 1 bath or 3 bed 1 bath...7500 sqft lot...
