Fallope: This is one of two significant time bombs I see over the next 12-18 months. It is no coincidence that some of the juiciest corporate junk bonds with high dividend yields are from companies such as Ford and GM, with staggering shortfalls in their pension funds. This will be the next major to scandal to roil the market although this may not get the attention it deserves for a year or two.

The other ticking time bomb, IMHO, will be the collapse of one of the large financial institutions within the next 2-3 years. My candidate is J.P.Morgan Chase, with its horrendous derivative exposure.
