bigger the bull, the deeper the bear claws it
that sums up the article's main point

I believe the major trends can be identified with cycles in the longterm view

but in shorterm, I like Brownian Motion to explain it
each move over a given short period of time is normally distributed with variance proportional to the time interval length
certainly, this does not hold beyond shorterm

when it comes to Elliott Waving, I usually find the declaration of 1-2-3-4-5 and a-b-c sometimes a stretch
who knows?
when the cycle is purported to begin with the fall of the Roman Empire in the 3rd or 4th century, that is when I tune out
an old movie rerun or nudie channel looks more enticing

I find the most value in 1-8 year charts sometimes
esp like the Mother of Bear Head & Shoulder S&P chart
