If your info is confirmed, I would assume the $45K number to be "X% below the intrinsic value of BRK" and lower limit to which the stock could fall.

That $45,000 number was in March 2000. Something might have changed for the intrinsic value of Fort Knox in the reinsurance business since then, no?
