From today's Miami Herald (Hi KLP), Israel licking its wounds read the headlines. "The whole world is always against us," Sharon was said to have replied

Pretty standard opinion from an Israeli perspective. How would you feel if you were an Israeli and the whole world, with the exception of the US, sympathized with the barbarians (not to mince words, if the shoe fits let the Pals wear it) blowing up your buses and ice cream parlors?

But this tiff is nothing much. Sharon pushed too far and Bush slapped his wrist, not for the first time. It might even work to Bush's advantage to be able to point to a US-Israeli tiff.
