Or better yet, keep quiet and listen for a change. It may improve your grammar, if not your sense of humor.

Ahh.. golly gee... If I'm supposed to be underwhelmed by your razor(clam) wit, and encyclopedic grade school education.. You've succeeded beyond your wildest expectations.

Btw, would you be willing to convey to all of us the sense of wonder you must have in perceiving the world in only two colors??

There are a whole hosts of interests who will profit from the downfall of Saddam Hussein, not just the US oil industry.

McDonald's will be able to sell in Baghdad...

They'll receive MTV/VH1...

We'll be able set up legalized camel race tracks..

We can even open up a Club Med in Basra...

And don't forget about Budweiser and Sam Adams... It's hot and thirsty there in Iraq... Gotta have something to drink.

Condoms?? Hey... why not?? Trojan has a vested interest in gaining access to Iraqi markets... (and the camels will love us for it)..

Any other secret corporate interests we want to accuse of having George Bush do their dirty work for them in Iraq??

The reality is that there is a clear and present danger in a post 9/11 world in permitting Saddam to remain in power. And overthrowing Iraq is crucial to thwarting the power of Islamic militancy in Saudi Arabia and creating a different economic dynamic than currently exists in the region.

Oil interests CERTAINLY will benefit.. but so will a multitude of other industries which the media seems unwilling to discuss.

And the US economy will benefit from having OPEC neutered since it will place Saudi Arabia at a distinct economic disadvantage that requires them to seek US economic assistance (which will come only with a price).

So yes.. let's acknowledge that powerful interest groups will benefit, or suffer (as in the case of the Russians, French, and Chinese).. But let's not be so idiotic as to argue that US foreign policy towards Iraq is solely being directed by them.

After all, Clinton was big with the oil companies as well, through Al Gore's Occidental connections...
