That goes without saying but my suggestion is that those days will be to the downside at the close and there would be higher than average percentage losses over that period of time.


that's what I thought, but then you said "When too many people get short, it should slow the decline," it seemed to contradict your first paragraph.

Looks like we might be able to test again the new low play on the qqq. Intraday low for qqq was 20.65 on sept 24, 02.
Ndx new low was 830.21 on Sept 24 also.
