Actually, I saw that on CNBC in the morning. Didn't make much difference. They all sold off, anyway.

However, there is a point that we never address. Which is that electronics/chip/semi/computer companies are unable to make profit, except in an environment of increasing sales. That just does not seem to me to be a sign of health. Microsoft, to take a counter example, adds $Billions to their bank account every year, even when their revenues are flat.

So, yeah, chip sales were up a couple percent Y/Y. but apparently, chip companies's cost structure is too high to make any money from that.
