Not sure this is suitable for this board but if not, you can all hiss or send me unhappy faces. I noticed that Best Pacific is being taken over for1.25. They produce 1,100 BOD. I've got a large holding in a Sask company, TPT, that
is producing 2000 BOD and is currently trading at 1.02. They're preparing a flood program that they hope will increase their BOD to 3,000 BOD. The price has been climbing steadily from 45 cents. It's one of my, I think I'll do this instead of going to Las Vegas plays. I just thought if Best Pacific is being taken over with 1k barrels, then there might be a chance for TPT to go the same way with a much higher price. But I'd classify it as high risk.

Best Pacific currently produces approximately 5.8 million cubic feet (mmcf) per day of natural gas and 1,100 barrels per day of oil and natural gas liquids. At June 30, 2002, Best Pacific's independent reservoir engineers have assessed its total established reserves at 18.4 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas and 3.4 million barrels of oil and natural gas liquids. In addition to the reserves, Best Pacific has approximately 155,000 acres of undeveloped land supported by 3,000 miles of two dimensional seismic and 205 square miles of three dimensional seismic and approximately $66 million in tax pools.
