re: named which operators own spectrum at 450MHz

I suspect MII can alter ownership circumstances at will with the wave of a wand...

What frequency does Telecom's PHS network operate at?

I believe at least one of Luna's articles referred to plural RFPs.

If Telecom is one, either they - or MII - may be tired of Telecom pissing $$ down a PHS rat hole (and feeding a foreign vendor). Latest USTI contracts may have been Telecom's final raise in its 3G poker game with MII... Is this to satisfy Telecom until 3G licenses are distributed?

And whatever Telecom wants - and gets - MII will have to offer to Netcom as well - who certainly wants a piece of Telecom's limited mobility market...

And what of lowly Railcom - who may well be left out of formal 3G license festivities entirely... a bone to them as well?

Does anybody know if Qualcomm has demonstrated a GSM-1xrtt (or IS-95A) handoff?

This would be a big issue for an operator that was thinking about doing an incremental GSM 1x overlay of their network.
