Guess who would stop that dead in it's tracks, Hawkmoon. I see that GM has a fuel cell model out.

What.. the enviro-wackos?? Getting upset about transporting large quantities of non-polluting hydrogen to the lower 48??

They wouldn't dare!!!... :0)

But I can see major problems as the global powers suddenly focus in on the Arctic and Anarctic regions, each vying for control over those ultra pure sources of hydrogen (and drinking water).

But again.. hydrogen is only a storage mechanism for energy, like methane, and oil. But the latter occur naturally in great quantity, while hydrogen generally has to be separated from water and converted to a form that a fuel cell can utilize.

And that's where nuclear power enters the picture.
