Drugs became prevalent after we invaded.

Invaded??

Would you apply the same denifition to the Chinese and Russian troops who were stationed in the North, and without whose vast military, finacial, and economic assistance the North could not have "liberated" the south??

Hi Karen Lawrence; Re: "Lets see, we ended up with a "stalemate" between North and South Korea from way back in the mid-50s and North Korea is STILL menacing South Korea. NOT a success story."

Help me here. I'm trying to decide which of these alternative histories would have been the "success story":

(1) The US fights Communist China in North Korea for 20 extra years, killing millions.

(2) MacAurther nukes the Chinese, resulting in a world-wide war that kills nearly a billion.

(3) The US ceases support for Korea and the North takes over, resulting in twice as many people now starving under a backwards Communist regime.
