It's incredible that the loud little handful (Mark Twain) here, in a pitiful attempt to mindlessly defend their prejudices, relies entirely on emotionally based rhetoric and unsubstantiated claims. This time in American history will either be remembered as one where either sanity or insanity forged the future.
As an optimist, I still put the odds on sanity.
History, in the short-term, has nominally placed the insane as points of reference. So far...it has, by a thread, been the sane who have dragged humanity toward continued furtherment.
Continued furtherment at this point in eons of the development of structural viability of homo sapiens rests upon sanity prevailing over one idiot led by a tiny, tiny group of megalomaniacs.
Each time in history that this point was reached, all of civilization suffered because inadequate belief systems of the masses, fostered by an insulated few in an illegitimate position of perceived power, were played upon and turned directly back onto the masses. Today's loud little handful are deeply mired in that same trap.
