Hussein is OPPOSED to Islamic fundamentalism. The US has NURTURED Islamic fundamentalist factions for 20 years to further short term strategic follies. All the while the US was well aware that IF the Islamic fundamentalists got out of control because we gave them material support but not ideological support we could stomp on them. The problem is...shrub thinks short term is 4 years. 4 years is just a blink. Now he's trying to roll an initiative that will surely require putting REAL long-term thinking into place based on his lack of understanding that 100 years can well be considered "short-term".
