we are on a war footing......our markets are on the verge of imploding ('cept gold <g>), everyone needs to suck it up and think about what "demands" are realistic and which will only cause further economic deterioration.

I agree with you!!!

I'm sure there are quite a few people who would love to have their jobs. With our current economy, IMO those on strike at this time won't have the public sympathy with them. Most people right now are grateful to have a job...and they won't like seeing their job threatened by a strike by dock workers.

IMO they should go back to work, or be fired and replaced by someone who wants to work!

If then President Regan could fire all of the union air traffic controllers in 1981, IMO replacing dock workers shouldn't be as difficult as the challenge of replacing air traffic controllers.
