We locals would do a better job than corrupt national "leadership" It's not a matter of smarts, willpower, or honesty. You need a national presence to regulate national industries. If every state is a special case you get situations where the increased complexity favors only those institutions big enough to afford 50 different specialists and lawyers. Our country would be stronger, richer, and happier if the efforts that are put into disrupting the federal agencies were instead put into reforming them. TP
