The worst thing about attacking Iraq at this time is it will be to the detriment of our economy. That alone may be enough for Americans to turn sour on Bush as a president. Heavens knows how many more people will out of a job next year than there are now without a focus on the Homeland instead of a guy thousands of miles away. If I was an adviser to the Dubya I would say "Fogetabouthim! Let's work on stopping the upcoming double dip recession. FT

moron re: The Mideast region is not alarmed. well, let him ask Israel if Israel is ok with Iraq's nuclear capabilities.... re: Chemical and biological weapons, Williams argues, are not weapons of mass destruction. maybe not from conventional perspective but terrorism is not exactly a conventional warfare..... re: How many American lives will we expend to punish Saddam Hussein? How many we are going save? re: how many Americans will die? hey let's wait until he would have capabilities to kill millions of americans and then we might consider him as a threat worthy of attack. If we follow that logic that would help a lot with earth overpopulation at the expense of American lives re: How long will public support last when hundreds, possibly thousands, of body bags start arriving home? are we fighting the war for popularity? I hope not re: How many Iraqi citizens do you plan to kill in order to bestow democracy? how many american and Israelis lives do we have to loose before we consider it as a problem? re: the world will be inflamed in anti-American sentiment, they already are and if they would need our help next time they'll find out that they are on their own re: But then, how will you govern a country probably still resisting through guerrilla activity and in which we do not speak the language? sounds exactly like pre-Aphganistan war ......
