Think of the President as the famous American law-man, Wyatt Earp. The President, his Cabinet, Advisors, and staff are all members of the Earp clan, and are bound by legal and political considerations.

I forgot to mention that I REALLY like the way that "Condoleeza Earp", and especially "Ari Earp", rolls off the tongue.

IC, You are much too impressed by your own perceived importance, and influence, in the world. If you have so much important business to do in order to save the world, why don't you put your shoulder to the wheel, and get the job done, instead of spending hours posting on SI?

BTW, I am solidly behind President Bush, and every member of his cabinet. Surprisingly, there may be a bit of weakness in Powell.
