I really have hope for Iran. Maybe it's because I've known a number of Iranians, and enjoyed knowing most of them. So many of the Iranians living in the US were hoping for a better country after the Shah was overthrown, but it turned out to be a cruel joke. Well, not funny, not a joke. Cruel irony.

My mother's boss is Iranian. He's a very honorable man. She's worked for him for years. He's a man of his word.

Many Iranians want to live a better life. They want democracy. They are able to come and go, unlike Iraqis, so they know what's going on.
