I'd agree on NT, but not sure of LU. There is so much corporate damage and abuse out there, that the US gov coming to the rescue of LU seems unlikely. Bush is trying to distance himself from all of corporate America; handing a loan to LU at this time would seem, how shall I put it, imprudent politically?

I also disagree with the other poster on the effect of a reverse split. It is a HUGE psychological negative, a sign of desperation. Both NT and LU will spend years trying to recover from it.

NT seems to have found a bottom at around $US.50. LU should find its bottom soon, IMHO. Both could represent a trading opportunity in Nov, but only with expendable funds...
