It doesn't matter. If you stop believing that capitalism succeeds, then only such valuations are possible. I remember thinking that how can Coca Cola with its "high-priced" drinks can compete in countries like India versus cheap domestic soft drinks. Through a bunch of tactics, coke is doing just fine over there now. It is not just the price of a product that determines its success. In any case, if MSFT fails, IBM will win and so on and so forth. The targets given in his email are for a nuclear winter era imho. He may turn out to be right if we destroy society as we know it...
