My guess, and it's only a guess, is that Arafat has finally gone beyond himself.

That was a nice and concise "round-up" of the current status of Arafat's political situation..

And the Israelis took the proper tact in directly targeting Arafat first and saving Hamas for later..

Whether they support his or not, the average Palestinian will associate their continued misery with Israeli desire to see Arafat ousted and exiled.

But how they handle Hamas and the Gaza strip remains to be seen.
