They'll be foreclosed on by the bank - and sold at actual market value.

Is there any secret to knowing about/bidding on foreclosed homes?

Yesterday a friend called me and said his mom (who is a real estate agent) has a house around here... "going for the 6s... was an 800K house". (the operative word, being "was")... it is a foreclosure.

In the case of foreclosures banks are willing to deal to get the house off their hands, correct?

I would like to know a little more about this process... I'll bet we get a whole bunch of those around here!
