and has occurred even though returns are at historically low levels, I would think that to the extent that FNM buys less T Bills that would increase the yield making them more attractive to new money, and not bullish for the stock market.

Besides when the FNM shit hits the fan that's not going to be bullish for anything.

Concerning peace my understanding is Congress has passed a resolution that whatever happens in Iraq and the Middle East it will be called peace. <gg>
