Maybe I metnioned \i read a bunch of Czech history while in Prague (in London now where everything costs double). You can hardly go anywhere without running into mementoes of the Nazis and if it's not that it's the Communists. We barely got out of the Czech Republic--one of those truly nightmare things where one small stub of paper was missing and they weren't going to let my wife on the plane. It does not yet seem to cross their minds at times that there is another airline named British Airways that I can take and that it was me who PAID them to fly us. Some of the old bureaucratic attitudes die hard.
