Surely if the US bombed Iraq because of information gleaned from the inspectors, it stands to reason that they found something incriminating, it was reported back to the UN. The US is a member of the UN and the security council so with that information ergo they bombed Iraq. The inspectors were stopped from doing more inspections except where Iraq wanted them to inspect so they left, that is effectively being kicked out.
