Personally, I''m not so worried about India.

First, they are more limited geographically, being on peninsula ringed by very high mountains. They are pretty much isolated there geographically. Second, they don't have a historic penchant for conquest or, I think, a national predeliction for war other than against Afghanistan. Their religious principles are mostly not focussed on conquest.

So though yes, they do have nuclear weapons, and do have population pressures, I don't view them as a long-term enemy.
