It also looks like AMD will lose money into the first half of 2003. Much of this is due to their own "lateness" on .13um products and process. Now they have even gotten so desperate that they are announcing products that won't exist for 6 months. Some analysts are predicting all through next year because of the low-volume projections for K8-series processors. Looking at the numbers today, the Street doesn't seem to be impressed with the vapor launch of the 2700 and 2800...
