" For someone to use the far more flattering term "martyr" to describe these people and their action is objectionable to me. It says something about what side they are on."

Where do you get the idea that "martyr" is a flattering term ...from your own religion perhaps?? And because in your own narrow twisted logic you think it is always flattering does not make it so.... The terrorists consider us infidels and as such they believe it is their duty to kill us.

" Who you side with tells me something about you. My position offends you, and his is worthy of public support, "

I'm not siding with anyone...but I am trying to correct your incorrect view of what a martyr is... I know you feel it is your god given right to decide who is patriotic and who is not and that quality, in fact, allows one to make a comparison between your thought processes and the religious wacko's who carried out 911.

<<Nobody asked them to "renounce their religious principals".>>

If not their principals they could've at least renounced their teachers...
