What a market today! There you have it folks. Many of you have wondered why I believe in dollar cost averaging and staying away from timing the market. Today is a good example of why.

This doesn't mean that I think the downdraft is over. But today's market action shows how fiercely the stock market can swing to the upside when a recovery eventually gets here. So if you are trying to time the market recovery, you may very well miss most of the upside move by the time you put your money back in. Good luck all!
